... Coastal Flood Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to
2 am EDT Sunday...
... High rip current risk in effect from Sunday morning through
Sunday evening...

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a coastal
Flood Advisory... which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to
2 am EDT Sunday. A high rip current risk has also been issued
from Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

* Tide levels... high tide will occur in Charleston Harbor around
midnight tonight. Peak tide levels will reach between 7.0 and
7.4 feet mean lower low water.

* Impacts... inundation of saltwater in and near low-lying coastal
areas could lead to some Road closures and flooding of properties.
Flooding is especially likely in downtown Charleston and
portions of Mount Pleasant.

* Rip currents... wind and wave conditions support the development
of very strong rip currents on Sunday. These rip currents will
be life threatening to anyone who enters the surf.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be prepared for the possibility of Road closures and minor
flooding of properties. If travel is necessary... do not attempt
to drive through water of unknown depth.

No one should enter the surf due to life threatening rip currents.

            from ogier to Rutledge. Ogier street from Calhoun to
            vanderhourst. Bogard street from the Crosstown to
            president. Crosstown Lane 3 north and south bound.
            Spring street from Crosstown to Courtney. President
            street from Crosstown to Hagood. Hagood street from line
            to fishbourne. South Market between meeting and East
            Bay.
